Dijon Manns drains two three-pointer midway through the first quarter to take the lead back from Goldsboro. Knightdale leads 38-30 at halftime powered by Stanley Okoye (9 pts), Dijon Manns (9pts) and Nate Wilkins (8pt). Dequan Joyner tossed in 10 for Goldsboro.

Goldsboro keeps trying to feed the post to get Dequan Joyner more touches but Knightdale is fronting him and having another defender slack back (usually Marcus Jones) to deny the pass. Three times recently it has led to steals/loose balls and Knightdale scores. Joyner is going to get his points but the Knights want him to work hard for them.

Knightdale holds off a Cougar rally, 71-65. Knightdale got 16 points from Manns, 14 from Okoye and 12 from Wilkins. Goldsboro was led by Joyner with 22 and Kornegay with 14.
